At the hem of our mothers' aprons, we learned the value of great food prepared with love: sometimes the difference between a wretched day and a good one wavers on the crispy-golden edge of a snickerdoodle.

Or a teacake.

And while our mothers also encouraged us to explore and to create and to alter, our fathers taught us the virtues of roots and tradition, of remembering the earth and keeping close to community.  We are, after all, made up of the things which surround us, but we are also more than the sum of our parts.

Our sweets reflect our European roots and American heritage, steeped in Southern hospitality and seasoned well with global travels.  We source ingredients from small, independent and local suppliers in an effort to bring you the height of quality and flavor.
